Laymen Ministries India began in 1993 when Pr. Shadrach Samuel met Elder Jeff Reich through Elder Bill Dull. The first project initiated by Pr Shadrach is to print E.G White books and Health books in Tamil language. Publishing ministry was the root cause, as pamphlets were printed to tell the soon coming of Jesus. It is designed to involve lay members to carry the gospel to the world. This was a humble beginning joining hands with LMN International.

In 1995 Kodambakkam Church and School conducted meetings in Porur in order to establish a church. Pr. Shadrack was the main speaker with Pr. Johnson giving health talks. During that time Elder Jeff visited India and had recorded the entire meetings. This was how things got together. From 1996 – 1999 Steps to Christ, Great Controversy, Desire of Ages, and Life Sketches of St. Paul were released along with Bible study materials. All these resources was used among Tamil speaking people all around the world. Inn 1997 after Porur evangelistic meetings, the lay members did the follow up work who also were selected later as permanent Bible workers. Now we have 54 Bible workers and 8 orphanage workers with the total of 62 workers.

In 2003 we entered with TV Evangelism and hired a 15 minute slot program, later it was raised to 30 minute slot program. Today our programs are telecasted in 3 leading satellite channel and in 7 local cable. Our programs are based on Bible doctrines, health, Viewers questions and answer in Bible. In 2013, after 20 years a land was purchased and a studio was built with prayer garden, and training Centre. Documentaries, testimonies and other programs are recorded to attract the people through social media. Pr. Shadrach a leading evangelist in India, Singapore, Malaysia, America, Dubai, England, conducted seminars, revival meetings and training programs to emphasize laymen ministries.

Pr. Johnson plans Evangelistic strategy and works with Bible workers in planting, and building churches especially in the area where TV viewership is high. He also works in relief work, meeting the needs of destitute and orphans in Children home Remember LMN TV India in your Prayers. This is a faith based ministry that tells the 3 angels
message to bring the people out of darkness into marvelous light.
